Britney Regains Visitation Rights

In what OK! has learned was a deal more than a week in the making, a judge has ruled that Britney Spears will once again receive visitation rights with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Under the ruling, Britney can see her boys in a "theraputic setting" — meaning, among other stipulations, that Jamie Spears and Brit's psychiatrist must be present.

Kevin Federline
is reportedly on board with the commissioner's decision and is, along with lawyers for both sides, impressed at Jamie's ability to quiet the whirlwind surrounding Britney's life.

K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan tells OK! exclusively that today's ruling would never have happened if Jamie hadn't stepped in to stabilize his daughter.

"Obviously this wouldn’t have happened if Jamie Spears wasn’t involved but there’s much more to it than those two people being present,” Kaplan tells OK! exclusively. "Let’s just say that my partner Jim Simon and I put lots of specific terms, conditions and protections in place that go far beyond those two people being present."

So how soon will Britney get to see her boys? "
Britney very, very soon will be seeing her boys again," Kaplan tell OK!. "At the moment we are waiting for the orders to be signed and faxed by the judge and assuming that we receive that tonight, visitation will happen very quickly.”

Re: Britney Regains Visitation Rights

Patty Duke on Britney in a Feb 1, 2008 interview: "We're light years apart, but things are so similar. I just ache for her. I had my symptoms from 19 to 35. The illness helps you deny it. Britney is going through this. She does not believe she's doing anything wrong. I'm wishing for her to have a moment of clarity. She can get the right treatment and counseling. I'm walking proof of that."

Re: Breaking News: Britney Regains Visitation Rights

Everyone aludes to Britney being bipolar, but when has anyone from the medical profession officially come out and said she is bipolar. Her behavior is more like Judy Garland's...too many drugs and too much booze. Britney is spoiled and out of control. When Patty Duke comes out and says she thinks Britney is bipolar, I might begin to think perhaps she is suffering from mental illness.

What are you so happy for? That those little boys will get to be around a mom who will teach them to disrespect women, have sex early and be cruel, stupid and irresponsible? Is that why we're all so happy that Britney gets to see those kids? I think it's damn sad.

At least Britney has her father by her side to help her out. Sam is out of the picture and hopefully she will stay away from him and Adnan. Britney still has a Mental Illness and at least she is getting help for that and hopefully she won't have a relapse and stay on her meds!!

Re: Breaking News: Britney Regains Visitation Rights

Well about time. Soooo happy for Britney and the boys. I'm sure EVERYTHING that has developed since Jan 31st contributes te her getting the boys back. Notably, Kaplan is still giving OK quotes showing who's boss.... Still the main thing is she's got visitation back!!
