Jennifer Love Hewitt should be very happy. The Ghost Whisperer star recently got engaged to her boyfriend, actor Ross McCall. But when photos of the 28-year-old in a bikini surfaced last week she garnered much criticism for not pandering to the pressures of Hollywood and being a size zero.

On her Web site, Jennifer Love calls out the media for giving her a hard time:

''I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized,'' she added. "To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.''

She goes on to say that being super skinny doesn't mean you are happy or beautiful and tells girls who are curvy to rock those bikinis. And adds:

''What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles."

But these photos of Jennifer and her bethrothed show that despite the criticism, Jennifer is happy being herself and finding true love (no pun intended)!
