The second-highest ranking celeb in US political history, Arnold Schwarzenegger, became a Republican in 1968 before he could speak English.

After becoming a two-time Mr Universe winner and one of the biggest movie stars on Earth (in more ways than one), Arnie found his calling in politics when he served as the chairman of President H. W. Bush's Council on Physical Fitness and Sport.

He won a special election in October 2003 to succeed Gray Davis as Govenor of California, and he's now serving his second term(inator. Sorry.).
