After two infamous failed attempts at marriage — to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton — it's understandable why Angelina has shown a reluctance to walk down the aisle with partner Brad Pitt. But now, sources close to the Oscar-winner tell OK! that she's finally gotten past her marital misgivings and is preparing to say "I do" to the father of her children.

"She's stopped saying 'I'll never marry,' " a friend of the superstar reveals to OK!. "Instead, she says, 'When the time is right.' That is a huge step for Angelina. She says if it ensures the future happiness of her kids, then what difference does a piece of paper make?"

Indeed, the mother of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 23 months, has found her life partner in their father. "She doesn't want to rush into anything, but she has made it clear that Brad completes her and makes her want to be a better person."

But don't expect their nuptials to be a lavish affair, like Brad's 2000 wedding to Jennifer Aniston. The ceremony is expected to be small and intimate, with just immediate family, including Brad's parents, Bill and Jane Pitt, his brother Doug, who is likely to be best man, and his sister, Julie, attending.

Also among the guests: Brad's pal George Clooney, and Angie's brother, James Haven, who is likely to walk her down the aisle instead of her estranged father, Jon Voight. Angie's maid of honor will be her longtime assistant Holly Goline. "Angie was Holly's at her wedding," says the friend.

And while the ceremony will be very low-key, expect the kids to be involved! "I wouldn't be surprised if Maddox was the ring bearer," says the friend. Brad and Angelina already sport matching bands, so there's no need for them to go ring shopping.

For all the details on what will certainly be the wedding of the year, pick up the new issue of OK! — on newsstands everywhere Thursday.
