At the Fourth Annual Black Ball Concert for Keep a Child Alive, Gwen Stefani proved that even celebrities are sometimes just giddy fans.

As the "HollaBack" girl took the stage in a short black dress and white blouse to sing with KCA co-founder Alicia Keys, she admitted to being nervous during the dinner that preceded the concert. “I had to sit next to David Bowie!" hollered Gwen, who says she listens to the music legend's songs every night said. “I was so scared I may have to take him off my iPod now.”

After taking a sip of Alicia’s water, Gwen composed herself and the pair sang U2’s “Sunday, Bloody Sunday.”
