OK! recently caught up with actor Michael Douglas to talk about his upcoming film King of California when the topic of Owen Wilson's, his You, Me & Dupree co-star, near-tragic suicide attempt came up.

"My heart goes out to him," The Oscar-winning actor/producer and son of Hollywood legend told OK!. "He must be in a lot of pain, and I hope he gets healed."

In 2004, Michael, who has admitted to seeking treatment in the past for alcohol abuse, tragically lost his own brother, Eric, to an overdose of alcohol and pills.

King of California
opens nationwide Sept. 28.
