Justin Postpones Two Tour Dates

If you want to catch Justin Timberlake’s FutureSex/LoveShow this week, you’re going to have to turn on HBO.

The singer postponed dates in Sacramento and San Jose, Calif., originally scheduled for Monday and Wednesday, respectively, after straining his vocal cords from over-performing, his record company Jive Records said in a statement. Under doctor’s orders, Justin must rest his voice for a week.

Justin has been touring worldwide since January and performed at Sunday night's Video Music Awards, collaborating with 50 Cent and closing the show with Nelly Furtado and Timbaland.

The two shows have been rescheduled for Sept. 23 (San Jose) and Sept. 25 (Sacramento).

The 26-year-old, who picked up two trophies at the VMAs, wraps the North American leg of the tour this month and will head Down Under in late October to finish up his globetrotting year.
